Yerevan International Airport

The airport was built in 1971. An open architectural design competition was held in 1970. The airport was renovated in the 1980s with the development of a new terminal area, in order to meet domestic traffic demands within the Soviet Union.
The airport is recently renovated by the state of the the art equipment.Its distance is just 12 km from the center of the capital of Armenia-Yerevan and geographically located at the crossroads of Europe and Asia
